Hand poured from deep crimson gel wax, The Kept Heart is a life like vegan alternative to animal or human hearts, designed for serious practitioners of emotional, love, and baneful magick. Its supple, jelly like texture evokes the pulse of the living heart. A vessel of desire, obsession, and will.

Neither candle nor simple prop, this heart is a magical body in itself. Meant to be cut, filled, wrapped, sealed, buried, or burned beside flame.

Ways to Work with The Kept Heart:

Love & Binding Magick

Carve names or sigils into the surface, or cut the heart open to insert petitions, herbs, or hair. Seal with wax to bind a love, solidify loyalty, or preserve passion. The heart may be wrapped in red or black thread to strengthen devotion or control.

Protection of the Self

Mark the heart with your own name to represent your emotional center. Encase it in protective herbs or wrap it in black cloth to guard your heart from manipulation, heartbreak, or psychic harm.

Baneful & Justice Work

Write your target’s name on paper or carve it into the heart. Slice a small opening and fill it with baneful herbs, rust, nails, or a drop of black wax symbols of decay, binding, or reversal. Seal the heart closed with melted wax, then wrap it tightly in black cord to contain the energy.

Additionally you may choose to:
• Pierce it with pins or iron nails to represent the target feeling the sting of their own actions.
• Freeze it to halt their influence.
• Bury it in grave dirt or crossroads soil to send the working into the hands of spirit for judgment.

When the heart’s purpose is fulfilled, bury it, melt it, or discard it.

 Necromantic or Devotional Offering

Offered as a bloodless heart to Death, spirits, or ancestors. Especially for practitioners who walk with Santa Muerte or other death deities. May be buried in grave soil, placed in an offering bowl, or melted as a symbol of eternal devotion.

 Warnings & Care:

• Do not light directly. The Kept Heart is wickless. Use candle flame nearby for sealing or symbolic burning only.
• Not edible or cosmetic. Ritual use only.
• Store in a cool place. Gel wax softens under heat or sunlight.
• Clean ritual surface after use. Its natural tackiness can attract dust or residue.
• Dispose respectfully: bury, melt, or place in a sealed container when the work is complete.
